OakBeck Veterinary Hospital (or VetHospital Ltd) aims to provide a high and continually improving quality of care and service to both patients and clients, in a financially viable, courteous and caring practice.

We regard our clients as 'friends' rather than just 'customers'. We are honoured that so many trust us to provide care for the pet members of their families. Our clients know that we continually invest in training for all members of the practice team and in new equipment and facilities for the practice. The aim of this investment is to provide the best possible care that we can.

The most striking feature of this commitment to the care of our patients is the decision of the practice to qualify as a Veterinary Hospital, this means that we have nurses on the premises 24 hours per day caring for any in-patients. Most veterinary practices do not offer this level of care, patients may be left unnatended in the practice overnight. We know that this is not the level of care our owners would wish for their family, nor would we wish it for our own pets.

OakBeck is linked to both Acorn Veterinary Clinic (in Ripon) and Ashdale Veterinary Clinic (on Otley Road in Harrogate). Patients can be transfered in our custom bult ambulances between the surgeries. All of our records are maintained centrally - so your details are always available whichever practice you need to visit.
